1. Not Keeping Your Dentures Clean!

2. Using Hard Bristle Brushes

3. Not Using The Proper Products To Clean The Denture
Cleaning a denture with soap and water works great. Clean is good, but it’s possible to “over clean” If you get overzealous and soak your teeth in harsh chemicals like bleach, vinegar or ajax you could end damaging your dentures! Avoid harsh chemicals if you want your denture to stay looking great as long as possible. Denture cleaners are ok but avoid harsh chemicals.
4. Not Handling The Denture Properly
Do you leave your denture in the hot car? Have you ever put it in boiling water to disinfect it? Do you drop it frequently? Of the 5 things that ruin dentures fast, handling it improperly is a big one! Handle dentures with care and they’ll last longer.
5. Not Taking The Denture Out At Night
People are used to having teeth at night and want to sleep in their dentures. This habit leads to yeast infections and painful denture sores. Take your denture out at night if you want it to stay comfortable.
